Data - Non-Data & Cheese
A while ago, I had the chance to be part of the “Finding Data Friends” series with Jess Pomfret and Ben Weissman. It’s always nice to sit down and talk about topics you enjoy, and this time was no different. We covered my favorite data-related thing—which was a lot of fun to dive into—but we didn’t stop there.
What made the conversation even more enjoyable was getting to share a bit about my favorite non-data thing: my love of cheese 🧀! Yes, we managed to connect data and cheese, and it made for a fun and lighthearted chat. It’s always refreshing to have conversations where work and personal passions come together in unexpected ways.
Jess and Ben do a great job of creating a space where conversations flow naturally. It didn’t feel like an interview but more like catching up with friends. That’s one of the reasons their series is such a joy to be part of—it’s relatable and welcoming, whether you’re in the data world or just stopping by to listen.
If you’re curious about what my favorite data topic is, how cheese managed to steal part of the spotlight, or just want to hear the conversation, you can watch the episode below or directly on YouTube. It’s Episode 068 Valerie Junk – YouTube.
