In December 2024, I presented my session “From data to action: Driving decision-making with Power BI” at the Power Conference Prague. I also participated in the Women in Tech panel (together with Nathalie Leenders and Angeliki Patsiavou).
Power Conference Prague is a two-day conference (one day with workshops and one day with sessions) in Prague.

About the Power Conference Prague Session - Action Driven Report Design
Let’s face it; there are probably not many people designing dashboards and reports just to have something pretty to look at.
Many Power BI dashboards companies use do not fully fulfill this need. Often there is data, which is good, but taking action and taking the next step with the insights needs many additional steps… When we take a step back, the dashboards were intended to lessen the workload and not add to the workload.
In the session “From Data to Action,” I’ll demonstrate how to effectively visualize data to facilitate actionable insights without needing additional tools—just some simple design tweaks. We will focus on asking the right questions and tailoring the design for your audience.
This session, aims at business analysts, data enthusiasts, and decision-makers.
About the Power Conference - Women in Tech Panel
I participated in the Women in Tech panel together with Nathalie Leenders and Angeliki Patsiavou.
We shared our experiences in the tech industry, discussing the challenges we faced. For instance, we talked about our role models – other women or, in my case, individuals from the data community – who believe in us and empower us.
This conversation was a goodreminder of the strength that comes from coming together and sharing stories.
