Power BI Next Step 2022
19-20 SEPTEMBER - DENMARK
Sharing Knowledge at Legoland!
I had a great two days at Power BI Next Step in Billund (Denmark). It was a great event with a lot of great speakers. I especially liked that they had a variety of sessions covering dashboard design!
Day 1 - Training Session
Reid Havens “Building Impactful Reports by Exploring the Art of Possible”
Super grateful that I could follow Reid Havens “Building Impactful Reports by Exploring the Art of Possible” training session. I’ve learned some cool new stuff and can’t wait to incorporate it into my reports!
During the session, we worked with several Power BI files and tried the taught for ourselves. That’s a great way to learn new things! It also gives the possibility to ask questions and get instant feedback.
If you ever get the chance to follow a 1-day training session, you should really try it!
Reid Havens shares a lot of tutorials on his page: Havens Consulting. Good to know, he also shares the pbix files for the tutorials!
Day 2 - 45 min sessions
Day 2 – 45 min sessions
On the second day of the conference, there were quite some sessions to choose from.
Next to following another session from Reid Havens I’ve got inspired by James Dales “Power BI Map Magic” and Alexander Arvidsson “Hands-on Lipstick on a Pig – Improving a Power BI Report Step by Step” session.
Also Štěpán Rešl’s “DAX tweaks for graphical diversification of the report” was insightful!
Thanks to Ásgeir Gunnarsson and Just Blindbæk for organizing this event at this awesome location!
